Structures and physical properties of v-based kagome metals csv₆sb₆ and csv₈sb₁₂ *

We report two new members of V-based kagome metals CsV 6 Sb and 8 12 . The most striking structural feature is the V bilayers. For , there an intergrowth two-dimensional layers one-dimensional chains, latter ones lead to orthorhombic symmetry this material. Further measurements indicate that these materials exhibit metallic Pauli paramagnetic behaviors. More importantly, different from 3 5 charge density wave state superconductivity do not emerge in when temperature above 2 K. Small magnetoresistance with saturation behavior linear field dependence Hall resistivity at high low suggest carriers both should be uncompensated much concentrations. discovery sheds light on exploration correlated topological based lattice.
